About V4NGUARD

V4NGUARD is a community effort to rebuild Destiny 1 on custom servers, keeping the full game playable independently of Bungie's official infrastructure. The project encompasses raids, strikes, patrol zones, the tower, loadouts, and gear collections — the complete feature set that defined the original game.

The work is collaborative: programmers, players, and fans contribute to the preservation effort. Development started in 2022 as a solo project by Cohae and has grown into an active community working to maintain and expand what's playable. If you played Destiny 1 and want to return, or missed it entirely and want to experience the original, this is where the server operates.
