V4NGUARD is a community effort to rebuild Destiny 1 on custom servers, keeping the full game playable independently of Bungie's official infrastructure. The project encompasses raids, strikes, patrol zones, the tower, loadouts, and gear collections, the complete feature set that defined the original game.
The work is collaborative: programmers, players, and fans contribute to the preservation effort. Development started in 2022 as a solo project by Cohae and has grown into an active community working to maintain and expand what's playable. If you played Destiny 1 and want to return, or missed it entirely and want to experience the original, this is where the server operates.
