Theoretical Neuroscience brings together neuroscientists, computer scientists, philosophers, and independent researchers working on or seriously interested in computational approaches to understanding the brain, artificial general intelligence, and symbolic reasoning systems. Members discuss neural modeling techniques, debate frameworks for AGI, explore how symbolic systems might explain or augment cognition, and share recent papers and findings. Conversations tend toward substantive engagement with complex ideas, drawing from both academia and industry as well as independent researchers grappling with fundamental questions about intelligence and mind.
