The Second Darmstadt School is a Discord server for people working with and listening to contemporary classical music—the experimental and avant-garde end of the tradition. The server is named after the Darmstadt Summer School, which shaped 20th-century composition.

Members here include composers, music students, and engaged listeners who care about serialism, spectral music, minimalism, experimental composition, and the full range of modern classical techniques from Schoenberg onward. They share their own work, discuss scores and recordings, offer feedback to one another, and debate compositional approaches.
