About Rikaido

Rikaido is a language learning community built around immersion-based methods, particularly the Refold approach. Members come to practice languages with native speakers, share learning resources, and discuss strategies for picking up new languages.

The server has active channels for Japanese (including Kansai dialect), Mandarin Chinese, German, and English. You can chat with native speakers and other learners in text or voice, swap recommendations for learning materials — whether that's YouTube channels, anime, books, or apps — and track your progress alongside others working toward the same goal.

The community welcomes learners using any method, not just immersion. If you're serious about language study and want to practice with people who actually speak what you're learning, this is the place.
