About Progressive Muslims

Progressive Muslims is a discussion space for progressive interpretations of Islam, interfaith dialogue, and social topics. LGBTQ+ members, LGBTQ+ supportive Muslims, and ex-Muslims are explicitly welcome. The community maintains clear boundaries: anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination and bad-faith arguments aren't tolerated. Members from any religion or belief system can participate respectfully.

Beyond discussion channels, the server hosts movie nights, voice hangouts, and gaming. Members share creative work—memes, music, photos, art, and poetry—in dedicated channels. Educational resources cover Islamic history, theology, and related topics. A verification system and active moderation filter out trolls and keep the environment stable.
