Editorial summary
Maryland Mayhem is a Baltimore-based gaming server for adults looking to build actual friendships through shared games and in-person meetups. The core games are World of Warcraft, Pokémon Go, and Magic the Gathering, though the server is open to other gaming interests. In WoW specifically, members pursue AOTC, glory achievements, and Keystone Master ratings for those who want structured in-game goals.
What makes this server different is the explicit commitment to moving friendships offline. Raid nights can turn into dinners, drinks, or kayaking trips. The founders, a married couple, started the server to solve the real problem of adult isolation, gaming is the entry point, but the goal is actual community and IRL support. Friendship isn't required to join, but if you're looking for people who game together and actually hang out in person, this is what the server is built for.
