About Learn Japanese through Anime

This is a server for learning Japanese by watching anime and engaging with the language in context. Members study Japanese through immersion — picking up vocab, grammar, and listening comprehension from shows they're already interested in — rather than grinding through textbooks alone.

The server is built around two things: practicing Japanese together and discussing the anime you're actively watching. You'll find channels for language practice, conversation about study approaches, and dedicated space to talk about series members are following. Voice channels are available if you want to practice speaking.

It's aimed at intermediate and advanced learners, though committed beginners who want to learn alongside the community are welcome too. If you're learning Japanese and want to do it through content you actually enjoy, this is a practical place to study with people doing the same thing.
