WriteHive is a non-profit Discord server for writers at any level—hobby writers, self-published authors, traditionally published authors, and everyone in between. The server runs writing conferences, retreats, sprints, read-alongs, and mini-classes, all free to members. Channels cover craft discussion, workshopping, sharing work, book recommendations, and networking. The community explicitly welcomes indie and self-published authors alongside traditional authors, which shapes both the educational programming and the overall culture.

Members use the server to improve their writing, connect with other writers, and participate in structured events and learning resources without paying for access.
