Traits SMP is a Minecraft survival server built around a custom races system. When you join, you pick one of 10+ races—Blazeborn, Enderstep, Witherkin, Arachnid, and others—each with distinct offensive and defensive abilities tied to specific weaknesses. A Blazeborn gets fire immunity and explosive power but takes extra damage from water; an Enderstep can teleport and move fast but suffers in rain. Your race defines how you survive, fight, and interact with the world.

The server is for Minecraft players who want survival gameplay with asymmetrical mechanics and meaningful character choice. It supports both Java and Bedrock editions on the same world, and includes proximity voice chat so you can communicate with nearby players in-game. The server runs anti-cheat and anti-Xray systems to keep PvP skill-based, and adds quality-of-life features like auto-sorting chests and infinite restocks on villagers.

Beyond the races, the world itself includes custom terrain generation and structures to explore.
