PVD Local Collective is a community for people in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts who want to meet others locally and organize things to do together. The server focuses on the Providence area and nearby driving distance, but welcomes anyone in the region.

Members use the server to introduce themselves, chat in dedicated channels, and coordinate local events and meetups. There's an event calendar where members post activities happening in the area, and gaming and tabletop RPG channels for people interested in those hobbies. The core idea is straightforward: find people near you, figure out what to do, and go do it.
