About Obtania

Obtania is a Java 1.18.2 survival multiplayer server that's been running since 2019. It's built around community-driven gameplay with an economy system centered on quests, player shops, and admin shops. The server uses a golden shovel land-claiming system to prevent grief and encourage building.

The core mechanics layer on top of vanilla Minecraft: Slimefun with addons adds tech and crafting progression, custom enchantments open up gear variety beyond standard drops, and mcMMO brings skill leveling to different activities. Quests are the main way to earn currency, and players can set up shops to buy and sell items to each other. Crates drop free fly tokens and cheap building materials to reduce grinding and keep construction accessible.

If you want a stable SMP with progression systems, a working economy, and enough mechanical depth to stay engaged beyond vanilla, this is a solid fit. The server has a stated focus on community input as it evolves.
