About Nosso Governo Virtual ®

Nosso Governo Virtual is a political simulation RPG set in Portugal. Players create characters, join one of six real Portuguese political parties (PCP, MDP/CDE, PS, PSD, CDS, PPM), and participate in a functioning government structure. The core activity is electoral politics: you can run for local office in cities like Porto, Lisbon, and Coimbra, compete for Prime Minister, or seek the presidency. The Assembly has 17 seats to contest.

Beyond elections, the server includes judicial roleplay — law students and lawyers can practice advocacy and develop Portugal's court system — and a journalism sector where players start newspapers and broadcast outlets. The idea is to make civics interactive: rather than memorise government, you simulate it, make decisions in real time, and see political consequences play out.

It's built for people curious about how government actually works, whether you're a teenager exploring politics or an adult who enjoys slow-burn political strategy. You don't need prior RPG experience. The appeal is the combination of real historical parties and actual Portuguese geography with the freedom to change how things play out.
