Luminous is a hub for finding and promoting SFW roleplay communities. The server has dedicated channels for advertising roleplay servers by genre, recruiting one-on-one roleplay partners, assembling group roleplay teams, and hiring staff. Members can browse what's available or post their own server or partnership listings to reach other roleplayers.

The community is 13+ and explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly. Verification is required on entry to keep out bots and bad actors. Boosters get additional perks. Staff stay active in enforcing community standards and responding to member concerns.
