About iPad Animators

iPad Animators is a community built around the tools and craft of iPad animation. Members use Procreate Dreams, Rough Animator, Callipeg, Flipaclip, Ibis Paint, and Toonsquid to create frame-by-frame and digital animations, and the server exists for them to share their work and learn from each other.

The server is for animators at any skill level—beginners learning the basics alongside people who've been animating for years. Members share work-in-progress clips, ask for feedback on tricky shots, troubleshoot software issues, and celebrate finished pieces. The server also hosts animation challenges that give members a prompt or constraint to work with, combining friendly competition with experimentation.

The community emphasizes both creative growth and emotional support. Animation is frustrating and rewarding in equal measure, and the server acknowledges that—people talk about the craft itself alongside the mental side of creative work. Feedback is thoughtful rather than harsh, and members treat each other as people, not just artists looking for critique.
