Chromatic League runs Pokémon battles under a custom ruleset centered on Fields and Crests—mechanics that force different approaches to team composition and matchups. Members can challenge gym leaders, attempt a champion run, enter the draft league where available rosters shift week to week, or spectate ongoing play.

The server hosts regular events and tournaments in both modded and unmodded formats. Voice channels support live battle commentary and coordination. The field and crest system keeps the metagame from flattening into the same team patterns, while maintaining competitive balance across different skill levels.
