About Behind The Spotlight

Behind The Spotlight is a social server for people who work in technical theatre—lighting, sound, set design, stage management, rigging, and other backstage roles. It's built for professional techs, school and community theatre crew members, and anyone interested in the craft of making live shows happen.

The server exists primarily as a meeting place. Members connect with peers who understand the unique demands of tech work, swap war stories from load-ins and opening nights, and build friendships with people in the same world. It's a space where you can find collaborators, ask questions about your work, and learn from others' experience without the gatekeeping you sometimes get in smaller theatre communities.
