AVC is a Minecraft server running asymmetrical team combat aboard a failing spacecraft. One team plays as armed Marines tasked with scavenging resources, fortifying positions, and executing an escape plan. The other team plays as Xenos, hunting Marines through the ship's corridors and using the environment to their advantage. The map itself is the pressure, a doomed vessel with loot scattered throughout that forces exploration and contact between teams.
Each match has a defined win condition: Marines win by escaping, Xenos win by preventing it. The two teams operate under completely different rules and objectives. Marines coordinate around logistics and survival. Xenos use speed and the map's verticality to cut off escape routes. Matches rotate teams so players experience both sides of the asymmetry.
