About A Novel Concept

A Novel Concept is a 21+ book club where readers and writers gather to talk about books, genres, authors, and the craft of writing. The server is designed around reading and writing as social activities — members discuss what they're reading, share recommendations, and participate in writing sprints whenever they feel like it.

The server has genre-specific and author-specific channels so you can find your people whether you're into sci-fi, romance, literary fiction, or anything else. There's a book of the month to give everyone something to read together, and members post about what they're currently reading and want to discuss. If you write, there's a writing community here too — beta readers, feedback, and sprints to help you work.

Beyond books, it's a hangout space. Members talk about music, pets, games, and life. The server is neurodivergent-friendly and has a stated focus on being a caring, welcoming place. Some of the staff and members are actual librarians, so if you're stuck looking for a specific book or want recommendations, there are people who know how to find what you need.
